I cannot explain the amount of motivation I have today. It is incredible. I am ready to push those in my group while pushing myself as well.

Advice from Jimmy John and my advice to STAY TRUE TO YOU!

Here are some of my thoughts for those going against the grain and doing their own thing when it comes to how you live your life, when you pursue your dreams, and when you choose who you let in and trust as close friends........

Everyone does life differently. What's right for one person may not be right for the next.

Have you ever seen this picture?

Our society wants us to go along with everything we're taught in school, the media wants us to "fit in" and be part of a society that blends in.....and ya know what? It is FAR EASIER to blend in, to copy your neighbor, and float through life living like others do.

Ya know what else? If you get caught in that pattern I don't believe you'll fully feel "fulfilled" because you won't be YOU. You'll be living a life that others choose for you.

Since making the BOLD decision to live my life differently in 2017, I have experienced life in a new way! In 2016 when my life was turned upside down with the loss of my brother I knew in that moment that life is WAY TOO SHORT to live like everyone else. I was ready to do things differently! Here's a quote from Jimmy John - I saw this a few years back and it truly stuck with me! It is making more and more since now that I'm working towards something BIG and EXCITING.....

Along my journey from going against the grain, learning more in school about holistic health, starting my own business that is a little different from typical programs, and going part time so I could pursue that and being a mom more, I have for SURE had my share of those who are skeptical of how I'm doing things. Some people think I'm a weirdo. Some do not agree with how I'm living my life and ya know what? I am completely okay with that because it is MY life and not theirs.

To change the world, sometimes you've gotta be that bird on the wire doing its own thing.

Sometimes you've gotta dig down DEEP and find out who you are and then STAY TRUE to YOU.

You must ALWAYS keep your eyes fixed on your goal and keep taking those steps forward NO MATTER WHAT.

Life will throw obstacles in your way.

Haters gonna hate.

Your journey may confuse some..........

And that's okay.

Stay true to you.

Keep going.

Keep growing.

Don't look back.

Your most fulfilled life lies ahead and your daily decision to keep going is gonna get you there!

Feeling Down? Those Shadows Are Liars.....

Well. It's January. The start of 2018. 

Should be feeling incredibly positive about everything, right?

Well, if you aren't I am here to tell you that you're 100% normal.

It may be dark when you wake up for work.

It may be dark when you leave work and head home. 

You may feel overwhelmed with where you are physically, financially, emotionally....and ya know what?

It's okay.

Do you know what the definition of darkness is?

   the partial or total absence of light.

   dark, blackness, gloom, dimness, murkiness, shadow, shade

2. Without light there is no such thing as darkness....

This was one of my favorite verses growing up and I still think of it often: 

1 John 4:4 tells us:

"You are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

When we have God in our hearts and in our lives, the Devil, who is the one in the world, cannot overtake us. God is greater than any darkness we will face, just as shadows, gloom, or darkness are ONLY the absence of light. 

Perhaps there is an area in life for you that seems absolutely impossible.

It is stressing you out.

It is causing you to lose sleep over.

I want to tell you right now that when you GIVE IT TO GOD and allow HIM to come in and take control of the situation, those shadows disappear because God is light...

and where there is light - there can be NO SHADOWS.

1 John 1:5 God is light; in him there is no darkness at all."

We are human. Life happens. 

For me, I am still in the process of healing from the loss of my brother. Some days are sunshine and rainbows, while other days are downright difficult. There are no words to express how I feel without him in my life.

I want to remind you that where the sun shines, the shadows have NO ROOM to hang out.

God is light.

Joy is bigger than grief.

2018 can be FULL of HAPPINESS and SIGNIFICANCE.

This life is temporary. 

Your life will be what you make of it.

2018 is brand new for all of us.

We EACH have the ABILITY to CHOOSE what 2018 looks like for us.

What will it look like for me you ask?

It looks like:

GROWTH.

STRENGTH.

HEALING.

POSITIVITY.

WELLNESS.

FREEDOM.

JOY.

ADVENTURE.

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR NEGATIVITY AND I WILL REPLACE MY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WITH POSITIVE ONES.

I want to encourage you to do the same.

The God in my life is BIGGER than the struggles I face. I get my JOY and my STRENGTH in HIM.

Isaish 40:31 "They who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

2018 can be your year for more growth. For more positivity. For lasting changes that start on the inside.

Don't worry if you feel you're starting 2018 off on the wrong foot, as each day is a new start...

I feel that sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves to "have it all together" on January 1st...

If you're searching for answers, looking for positive changes, and feeling overwhelmed by life......I get it.

BUT.

I also want the BEST FOR YOU.

I want to invite you to live the #faithnesslifestyle in 2018.

Don't be intimidated by it.

It means you are making the decision every day you wake up to be better than the "you" who you were yesterday.

I am here to encourage you.

To inspire you.

To offer advice and answers.

To talk to you and be real on your "crappy days"

To walk with you in 2018 on this crazy journey...and to live life HAPPY AND HEALTHY......

Happy New Year to YOU!

2018...How Will You Be Better?

2018.

Less than one week away.

I'm sure you've got some thoughts going through your mind....

As we reflect back on 2017 - what were your favorite moments?

What absolutely sucked for you?

What do you want to experience more of?

What do you never want to repeat ever again?

How can you improve your life on many levels? (I'm talking your health, your positivity, your BIG goals and even finances and relationships....so many topics we could cover with this!)

I want 2018 to be Incredible for ALL of us.

Nothing Changes if we stay where we are.

That means NEW habits.

That means SACRIFICE in some areas.

That means FAITH in all topics.

That means FOCUS where you want to improve.

That means a LEAP OF FAITH when you are ready to move forward.

It is easy to get "comfortable" where we currently are.

GROWTH happens outside of our comfort zone.

In 2018 I am EXCITED to step out of my comfort zone again and move forward to pursue my goals and passions. 

In 2018 I am ready to RE-FOCUS as I just back on track with those in my FAITHNESS FAMILY.

(I have been enjoying too many sweets this time of year! haha....)

In 2018 I am ready to grow more spiritually, to deepen my understanding of what I'm called to do on this earth. I am ready to sacrifice a little to grow a lot.

In 2018 I am looking forward to helping others TRANSFORM in a lasting way.

In 2018 I am excited to be a better wife, a better mom, and a better coach.

In 2018 I am nervous, but more EXCITED to see where God leads my journey. (It has truly been an incredible walk of Faith so far and I wouldn't trade it for anything! God knows what He's doing!)

In 2018 I want to challenge YOU to stop looking in the rearview mirror and look ahead through the windshield at better things to come! (there's a reason the rearview mirror is smaller....we aren't going back that direction! Onward and Upward!)

HOW WILL YOU BE BETTER IN 2018?

Challenges and Growth

How Many Times Have You Prayed Or Asked.........

How many times have you prayed to be better in a certain area?

How many times have you asked God for something and it simply has not happened?

How many times do you try to make things happen on your watch, in your own way, in your own will?

STOP.

Stop trying to make it happen on your own.

I am sitting here in the same scrubs that I put on this morning at 5:45.....it is now 11:15 as I write this and let me tell you it was a LOONNNGGG day. I am physically tired, but emotionally and spiritually I am wide awake. God is doing something incredible in my life and I must share a little bit as that's what I do from time to time.

I always try to remain transparent in my journey and I felt compelled to share this with you this evening for some reason....perhaps someone is meant to read this tonight....or perhaps tomorrow... Either way, I am called to share this and I listen when God tells me to do something...

So here it goes:

God has been doing a work in my heart and in my life. 

The last few years have been times of incredible growth.

Incredible joy with the birth of my daughter.

Incredible sorrow with the loss of my brother.

Incredible faith as I stepped out in obedience when God gave me "Faithness" and showed me that it would become a movement of health and wellness, of spiritual growth, and amazing personal growth.

Incredible excitement as I went back to school to learn more about natural healing and holistic wellness.

Incredible vision as I see God's calling for my life unfolding right before me......

I cannot begin to express the amazing presence I have felt with God in my life through all of the changes. It is crazy. It is just crazy to me how much can change in one year. In a couple of years.

One thing I am starting to see unfolding in my life - which is EXCITING for me to share is GROWTH.

When we pray for God to give us more of "_________" , to make us more "__________", to provide us with "____________" - He does not always just "give" it to us.

INSTEAD God gives us seasons of life to practice those things and GROW.

He allows life to take place, and WHEN WE KEEP OUR EYES ON HIM, he does a beautiful work inside us and those things take place in HIS time.

Growth is not always pleasant and it certainly does not always make sense......

In my own life I have been praying about some BIG, SCARY, GOD-SIZE GOALS.

God has been waiting in each chapter FOR ME to TAKE THE STEP FIRST...then He reveals more to me.....

Then I MUST TAKE THE NEXT STEP and trust in FAITH.....

then He reveals more to me.....

And so goes this adventure of a purpose driven life....

(This whole trust thing is like a scary, exciting, faith-filled free-fall into the best life I've known yet!)

I could go on and on BUT I want to get to the point.

When we STOP trying to figure it all out on our own, 

When we take a step back and PRAY about our goals and hopes and dreams and then LISTEN to God and ACT in FAITH,  

WE BECOME LIMITLESS THROUGH HIM.

It is so funny...as I was feeling tired while making Kombucha this evening, I started out grumbling to my husband about how it got so late so quickly and I just wanted to sit down when the thought hit me right between the eyes.....I PRAYED FOR THIS.

GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYER IN THIS AREA.....

It may not be how I originally imagined it (because we all know God's thoughts are bigger than ours)

But it is just one of the puzzle pieces at this moment in my life.

My attitude immediately improved and I regained my joy for making Kombucha late this evening....

God is good and His timing is perfect. 

This evening I was reminded of that while simply making Kombucha for my clients and customers who I greatly appreciate! 

So if you're reading this and already buy Kombucha from me or you're planning to get some from me soon, know that it is SUPER fresh haha....it is made with love for you....and remember as your drink it that each day is a gift, perhaps filled with an opportunity to GROW, and NEVER stop pursuing your passions and goals.

God blesses that.

He created you with those joys deep in your soul.
