If you're reading this page, thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me!

I am a wife (as of 2009). I am a mom to one spunky little girl (as of 2015) and have one on the way (Due October 2019)! I am also mom to an indoor minx cat and LOTS of plants.....haha....I live in the country and love the peace and quiet, as well as the lifestyle it provides! A few hobbies of mine include: painting (watercolor is my favorite when it comes to painting), ceramics, writing music and playing the piano and ukulele, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and playing anything and everything under the sun with my toddler, Nova! Life is exciting through a toddler's perspective. I am learning a lot through this season of motherhood....it is a time of growth, sacrifice, appreciation, and simplicity. I absolutely love being her mama and look forward to the new addition to our family this fall with another little human! 

If you're a mom and reading this, you know that your time is not your own when you become a mom...that is why it is SO IMPORTANT to make yourself a priority, while YES - finding balance in other areas of your life. Everything in moderation. You simply CANNOT pour from an empty cup. You are truly the ONLY PERSON who can give your kiddos a happy and healthy mom. That starts on the inside! It needs to be you vs you. Strive for progress and not perfection. Learn to laugh at your mistakes and do not play the comparison game with anyone else! You do you...after all, you are the one living your life! (Not anyone else....who are they to judge your decisions?)

I have found through the past few years that the "idea" of how certain things play out and how they actually fall into place are often different! I have found, and keep finding that the joy is in the journey. Life is not a destination. It is truly a road trip through rediscovery of who we are in each chapter of life. We literally go through ups and downs, twists and turns which bring us into new places and demand different versions of us. 

I originally titled my blog "Andrea Newkirk Natural Living" in 2015 when I launched this blog.

(I am always on the look out for more natural ways to live, while cleaning up my own habits and sharing new habits with my husband and daughter to allow us a healthier way to live)

I re-titled my blog "Happy 3" because I can honestly say that summed up our little family at the time....and NOW I'll be thinking of a new name for it as we expand our family and move forward with the joy of writing here occasionally and pursuing whatever God places in front of me! 

I enjoy talking about ALL KINDS of topics and therefore do not want to limit my blog theme to only "natural living" (although that is of great importance to me)

I want this blog to serve as a transparent sounding board where you can simply follow my journey, gain encouragement, and see that there is NO SUCH THING as a perfect life, but rather a wonderfully, tied together story that has you as the main character as you ride along this journey (AND ENJOY IT) while taking strides to keep you heading in a positive direction!

 This blog is a look into my life, my journey, and my thoughts along the way!

My husband and I made the decision at the beginning of 2018 to bring me home full time. It pushed me to pursue my calling as C.N.H.P. (Certified Natural Health Professional)! I absolutely love what I do as a Personal Wellness Mentor and I love the flexibility I have from working with my clients from home! It is refreshing to know that taking a leap of Faith always provides positive growth, a rewarding lifestyle change, and an exciting journey! I wouldn't change a thing!

I love handcrafting wellness and beauty items as well that have served our family well...that is why I continued pursing those very things as other family and friends wanted to benefit from my products as well! These types of things include Organic Elderberry Syrup, My collagen producing anti-aging face cream, lip balm, detoxifying deodorant, blush, herbal bug spray, non-toxic sunscreen, lotion bars, etc...I ship all over the USA and LOVE meeting other likeminded people who share my love for natural living and incorporating my holistic products into their lifestyles!
