Goal Setting

What are you working on?
What are you working towards?
Where do you want to be in life in another 2, 5, 10 years?

What if I told you that by simply writing those thoughts down and committing them to paper, you'd be more successful?

What if I told you that by living your life a little differently and changing your mindset and thought process those things would happen more than if your mindset stayed the same ?

Take a moment to consider...

Instead of only making "mental notes" and writing REAL notes, your thought process will also change....

Writing your goals on PAPER is a great place to start with making changes.

Look what God has to say about writing things down:

Habakuk 2:2-3 :

"The LORD answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it. At the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting--it will happen! "

 God's timing is perfect.

While setting goals, writing them down, and working on them we must also be praying for guidance and direction.

We live in a culture that thrives on instant gratification...which does not produce lasting "grit" - true satisfaction - or character...

Something incredible happens when we :
Set goals
Write those goals down
Start PRAYING about those goals
Give those goals to God (while we work towards them)
Focus on one day at a time
Strive for progress and not perfection

The hardest part with anything is STARTING.

May you be encouraged today to simply BEGIN.

-Know that some days it can feel like two steps forward, one step back.
-Know that not everything works out just as we had planned.
-Know that when you give it to God, wait for his timing, stay consistent, look only forward, have faith, and focus on the JOY in the journey it will work out better than you could have done yourself!
